Obituary of Joanne Denise Wright
On February 18th, 2020 Joanne passed away peacefully after a very long and courageous battle with Advanced Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia.
Joanne, is well known for her long career at Color Your World supporting many commercial and residential clients with colour choices, mixing paints and decorating suggestions.
Joanne is survived by her husband and best friend of 34 years Todd Wright and by her loving sisters Joan McKee, daughter Dawn and husband Alvin, Jamie and wife Alison and (Vicki) Susan Chrissley, son DJ, daughter Amanda and husband Jim and brother Larry Kicks, daughter Venessa and husband Sheldon and son Josh. Joanne will be sadly missed by her Aunt and Uncle Norma and Roy Ropp, and friends Andrea Elkadri, Steven Yarkovsky, Bob Kennedy, Karen and Andy Deeprose, Sandy and Rob Locking, her four-legged daughter Abbigail Rose and many cousins. Joanne was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Peter Deacon, Lloyd Kicks, her brother Robert and Donald Kicks, Mother and Father in law Barbara and Ted Wright, brother in law Glen McKee, Scott Hornby, Stan Chrissley, and Cousin Margaret Collins.
A very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Parkwood Mental Health Hospital G4 and G2 for their unwavering caring compassion and support to Joanne and the family.
Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario, on Thursday, February 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 and Friday February 21st visitation at 10am followed by the funeral at 11am. Internment will follow directly after the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden 2001 Dundas Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society and Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca
