Obituary of Bernie Petronis

Peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, December 28, 2007 at L.H.S.C. University Hospital, Bernie Petronis in his 89th year. Re-United with his beloved wife Edwina (2000). Devoted father of Ron and his wife Linda. Cherished grandfather of Mark and his wife Louise, and Melissa Petronis. Loving great-grandfather of Alex and Dominic. Bernie will be missed by all his surviving family members and friends. Bernie was a veteran of the second World War, 1st Batallion. The Black Watch and Canadian Legion Branch # 525 of Rodney, Ontario. Bernie was also a member of the Mocha Shrine and a Mason of West Elgin Hall #386 of Rodney, Ontario. Funeral Service will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Wednesday, January 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Janet Fradette officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private family interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery Donations to L.H.S.C.
