I have many fond memories of chats with Gwen in the backyard on Leyton Cres. She was a source of inspiration. Gwen always had a kind word, a lovely smile and a good story to share. Gwen made the world a better place - she will be missed.

I only recently met Gwen in my duties as an RN at Inspirit but she touched me deeply. I couldn't wait to tell my husband about the truly remarkable woman I had met at work. I wish I could have had more than just two interactions with her. My condolences to all her loved ones.

Gwen was a very special person to all of us, my dear cousin and a 'substitute Grandma' to my son Charlie. Her death leaves a hole in our hearts, but her legacy of kindness, fortitude and grace will always be with us. Our hearts are with her family in this difficult time. Bill, Charlie and I send our heartfelt condolences to her children and grand-children.

We have so many great memories of life on Leyton Cres. It was a privilege to have lived next to such a loving family. I drove by when I was in London recently and noticed that the neighbourhood looks a little different but still looks good. Your parents were like mentors to myself and my siblings. We miss them very much. Love -- Jim and Beth
