Obituary of Lambrinos (Lambros) Negas

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Lambrinos "Lambros" Negas of London was in his 87th year. Lambros was born in Romiri Zakynthos, Greece in 1925 and moved to Canada in 1965. Beloved husband of Panagiota (nee Velikas), formerly of Mystras, Greece, for 46 years. Loving father of George, Vasilios and Alexandros (Maria). Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Micheal. Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Friday from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11 am with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers held in the chapel at Friday evening at 8:15 pm. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or Alzheimer’s Society.
