Dear Vera and Michael, Adalia and Children, We feel great sorrow for your loss. But Your loss is Our loss too. We lost a friend like no one else. The world has lost a man who lead an exemplary life, kind and caring, a man who even after living through the great horrors of the Holocaust, having lost his family, had the strength and purpose of starting a new family and bringing happiness and light around him. Along the way, he made so many friends, and countless acts of goodwill. He was always giving, asking for nothing in return. People like Bill are hard to find, and when they do happen on this Earth, those around them are most fortunate to have met them. We are some of the fortunate ones, who knew Bill and will forever remember his warm smile, the sparkle in his eyes, the profound moral person that he was, and above all, his friendship. May his gentle soul rest in peace, and his example live through all of us. Please accept our heartfelt condoleances. Ina and Cristian

Dear Vera and Michael,I am very saddened by Bill's passing. I loved Bill dearly, always admired his spirit, especially after he had to endure during the Holocaust. He was a kind man, a real mensch and I will miss him. May his memory always be a blessing. Alexandra
