I was very sad to hear the news of your mother passing. I will remember Elizabeth and your father and all the wonderful times they had in the Keys. I always look back fondly of the lively McIntosh house on Commissioners and the fun birthday party's your dear mother would host. My condolence to all.

I served with your father Alex McIntosh during the years April 1972 to May 1975 when he was first the District Commander of London Militia District, and later was the Area Commander of Central Militia Area in Toronto. As the Senior Staff Officer (Regular) in the Area HQ in Toronto, I had regular dealings with you father and has included in many of the social gatherings, where I met your mother. They were both very impressive individuals and I was impressed with their sense of civic responsibility as well as their strong family ties. They were strong citizens of Canada and it was an honour and a pleasure to get to know them.I know their families will miss them very much and I would appreciate being included in that group who have lost a dear and valued friend. Sincerely; Douglas Yuill, OMM, CD3, Brigadier General (retired).

A great older sister. Many happy and instructional times as I grew up and visited Lal, Alex and family over the years. As teen-agers had many dinner-time-debates between father and us on world affairs of 1939. We will miss you.
