Obituary of William "Bill" Theophilopoulos
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Theo; a generous, down-to-earth, and kind hearted man who always put others before himself. Bill was only 55 years old. Bill will forever be loved and missed by his family: life partner Linda; brother Chris, sister Pota Karkabasis and family in Greece, daughter Helen and husband Jim, son William (BJ) and wife Meaghan, and son Gus; His grandchildren, Noah and Luke (Helen) and Grace and Fin (BJ), sister Patra and family; many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as Margo Addie (and family), the Ahrens family, the Straw family as well as his children’s mother Lorie and her family (Harris). Born in Xirokambe, Greece, Bill came to Canada at age seven. Because of his great head for business, his resourcefulness and his determination Bill created and operated several successful companies. As a father, Bill was dedicated to providing his children with the best possible start in life. In recent years his focus was on enjoying time with Linda and their travels to Europe. His ’69 Dart was his pride and the Maple Leafs was his hockey team. Bill took great pleasure in the simple things in life. Bill touched many peoples lives with his kindness. “Theo” will long be remembered by everyone.
