Obituary of Robert “Bert” Albert Springett
Peacefully, at his residence on Sunday, December 09, 2007, Robert “Bert” Albert Springett in his 87th year. Born on the 5th of February 1921. Best husband and friend of 48 years to the late Catherine Marie Springett. Beloved brother of Harry Springett of London and Shirley Springett of Vancouver. Will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Ray and Vic and sisters Grace and Lillian. Bert has been a member of King Solomon’s Lodge No. 378 A.F. & A.M. G.R.C since 1960 and a longtime devoted member to 32 degree Shriner’s Mocha Temple. Bert is an honourary member of the Muslem Arab Patrol and Aloha Shrine Club and also committed himself to the Royal Order of Justice. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Masonic service will begin at 7 pm on Wednesday. The Funeral Service will be held in the Logan Chapel on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Robert E. Henry officiating. Interment in Siloam Cemetery.
