Obituary of Christos "Chris" Carantonis
Peacefully, at his residence following a brave battle, Christos "Chris" Carantonis passed away, on June 16, 2018, in his 82nd year.
Chris will be deeply missed by his wife Ute, his daughter Angelika (Shawn Osborne, who was like a son to him) Carantonis, and his son Christos R. Carantonis. Also left to mourn are his brothers Kosta (Maria) and Kuriakos (Helen). He will be remembered by the Carantonis family in Canada and in Greece, and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Angeliki.
Friends and family will be received at the LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 371 Dundas St., on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 7-9 pm. Prayers will be held in the Logan chapel at 8 pm.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd., on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11 am with Father Demetre Mouselimis officiating.
Interment Woodland Cemetery.
Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Chris' name are asked to consider the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
