Dear John, dear Gail, I am so so sorry ... John when you told us last year that your dad was sick, I could see that you were trying to make his last months with you as fun, filled, meaningful as possible... you did all that from China , so far away and very difficult for you, but you know what? you managed. I recall the fun concert you had set up for Colin, all the little details, the old friends you contacted, all the pictures you have taken... Most of us do not have time to prepare memories as you have done. I am really impressed. Morgan's prom with all the photos of all the family together, and I am sure many more fun/happy/memorable times will arise in the coming months. I know Gail has also been a huge instrument in making his last months with you the most comfortable and human as possible. She is absolutely wonderful! What a great woman! You know John and Gail, you give me the right example: I am now including my mother in as many good times as I can. It does make a lot of sense.
