Obituary of Catherina (Rina) Ghitacos
At L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Sunday, August 10, 2014, Catherina (Rina) Ghitacos of London in her 75th year.
Beloved wife of George Ghitacos of London. Dear sister of Nikolaos & his wife Stavroula Hatzigeorgiou of Athens, Greece and predeceased by a brother Paulos Hatzigeorgiou of Greece and a sister Sophia Laskaris of London. Dear sister-in-law of Christina Hatzigeorgiou of Greece. Loved by 4 nieces Stella, Martha, Betty and Kathy & her husband Ilias Homsi and 3 great nephews Michael, Nicholas and Christopher. Survived by 6 god children and many nieces and nephews in Greece.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the chapel Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m.

A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Catherina Ghitacos.
