Dear Joan and family, We were so sorry to read of Carl's death in today's Packet. He was a special man and we feel a real sense of loss in spite of seeing him only rarely over the years. In fact, we were looking forward to perhaps seeing you both at a reunion. There is one that could take in place in2014 although we've heard nothing so far.
