I was so sorry to hear about Carol. It was a shock. She was a sweetheart and I cared about her very much. I remember when she contacted me about TOPS and she was so thrilled to meet so many new friends, she was a treasurer that's for sure. She was such a wonderful person and a great TOPS member when she belonged to TOPS. We all have very fond memories of Carol, she will be in our hearts for years to come. Take good care of yourselves. I know how much she loved you all. I care, Barb Kilcan

Dear John ,Jen ,Grace and family. I am deeply saddened to hear about Carol. May memories of happy family times support you and bring you comfort in the weeks ahead. The last time I talked with Carol we shared "Gramma" stories and laughed about the fun we had at this time of year closing down the kindergarten school year with water play day. That is how I picture her, laughing and dripping wet having just 'slipped'in one of the wading pools. She is not gone. She is just away. She is in our hearts and always will be. She loved you all. I will miss he dearly. Lin Tibensky

I was deeply saddened to hear of Carol's passing. I had the privilege to get to know her as Stanley's veterinarian. The girls at Southside and I were always happy to see her and I loved her visits to the clinic. I did not just feel that she was client - she was a good friend as well. She was one of the most caring and kind women that I have ever known. Grace - we often spoke of you and your pregnancy (as I too was pregnant) - when she talked about you her eyes would light up and you could tell she was so excited to be a grandma. I could tell she loved all her family with all her heart and soul. I will never forget her and hope that you can all find moments of peace in each day as you attempt to get through this extremely difficult and heartbreaking time. Dr. Amy

I was so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I had the privledge of working with her at C.C.Carrothers for many years. As a new teacher she was a friendly face and mentor who always provided words of encouragement and a moment of laughter that was much needed. I enjoyed her stories and easy nature. Her love of teaching and her family was always apparent. She often went out of her way for others and I often have thought of her words of wisdom in the years since her retirement when I am dealing with various situations. She touched many lives which I am sure will provide you some comfort in this difficult time. My thoughts are with you.

Dear John, Grace and Jen, I am so sad that Carol has passed away. I'm sure she is leaving a huge hole in your lives. I have been thinking of the many years I was fortunate enough to work with her. I loved working with Carol for the many years we shared schools and sometimes classroom space. She shared many of my enthusiasms and taught me to share some of her own. She was always a step ahead of me when it came to exploring new ideas and also in raising children. She was an advisor, a support a cheerleader and a friend. Even in death she has reminded me that I should touch base with dear friends more often and appreciate all that life has to offer now. I will be forever grateful that I have known her. I am sorry for your loss. Marg Allan
