Bill, my god I only seen you the other day and it reminded me of the time we would take off and do lunch at Metro. Wow 57 I can not believe your gone just like that! So glad I had that opportunity to see and speak to you one last time! Pro Patria Brother! I hope to see you on other side. You were a good soldier and all that knew you were happy you were on our side. God bless brother. I should have come and got you for that coffee we talked about! But I guess you knew! Sad very sad to see your gone Bill!

So much to say, such a great loss. Bill was a saving grace for Staff & Students. His kind heart, sense of humour, professionalism and unparalleled skills on the drill floor will be what I remember most. Of course, I will not forget the times I went over to his place to help him get his Star Wars Battle Ships back in working order as well :-) Sgt/WO Bill Baker at times, was a much-needed replacement for my brother who I had lost so many years ago and I will always be grateful for his advice and words of wisdom that I so desperately needed on many occasions. I will always miss you Bill.

I am sorry that I live too far to attend Bill's Service and Celebration of Life. I had the chance to work with Bill, and I am sure that testimonies of his compassion for his Troops, his wicked sense of humour and his highly communicable laughter will be pouring in from all those he worked with and tutored. All my Condolences to you, Sharon, and to all the Family and Extended Family he leaves behind. Bill was too great a person to be forgotten - He leaves a huge void behind him. May you now Rest In Peace, my Friend! Master Warrant Officer (Retired) Didier Naulleau, CD Mayor, Town of Pinware, Labrador; Treasurer, Combined Councils of Labrador; Labrador Director, Municipalities NL.

Bill and I worked together for nearly 6 years. He was role model, a man of strong conviction and the highest standards. He impacted so many lives in a positive way, that it is impossible to quantify. His sense of humour was priceless and he was always up to some mischief somewhere. One of my best memories, was the day we put that Warrant Officer rank on his chest. I spent hours learning the RCR halt and when I did it in front of him on parade, he almost smiled! Bill, we all hold you in the highest regard, you are already missed but you will never be forgotten. Sharon, Richard and Warren, treasure the good times, you are in our prayers and thoughts, we are all here for you whenever you need us.
