Obituary of Joyce Cecilia Furtney

Joyce Cecelia Furtney (Carroll) of London, ON at 80 years young. In Joyce’s words "I have lived a wonderful life, and have been truly blessed." Predeceased by the love of her life George (1988) and survived by Mary Sue (Ken Forbes), Debbie McGee (Bill), Brad (Lisa) and Greg. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Lindsay (Jeff) Smallwood, Sean, Ellie, Paige, Graham, Raquel, Luke, Brooke and great grandchildren Madison and Owen. In addition to her immediate family Joyce enjoyed the love and support of a large extended family both in London and Muskoka and will be missed by each and everyone. Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne), London, Ontario. A Funeral Service will be held in the Riverside United Church, 451 Dunedin Dr., London, Ontario on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Philip Newman officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In memory of Joyce donations may be made to the Brain Tumor Foundation.
