Obituary of Michael "Mick" Murphy

Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital after a brave battle, Michael Terrence Murphy, in his 79th year. Devoted husband of Violet (2005). Loving dad of Michelle (and Rob Barghout). Very proud Bubba to Colleen. Dear brother of Maureen and Angela. Forever remembered by many nieces and nephews. Michael was a proud member of the British Car Club. A memorial service will be held at LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, on Friday March 22, 2013 at 2 pm, with Father John Comiskey officiating. Visitation one hour prior. There will be a reception to follow, at the RCAF Club, 2155 Crumlin Side Road. Michelle and Rob would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jo-Anne Hammond and Dr. Caitlin Fitzpatrick for the level and devotion of care give to Mick, and to the incredible staff at Parkwood Hospital who made his final time easier for everyone.
