Obituary of Maurice Seigel

In loving memory of Maurice Seigel, 1925 – February 28, 2013. Devoted husband and father. Predeceased by sisters Lilly and Anne, and daughter Leslie (Brad). Survived by his wife Shirley (three months shy of their 64th anniversary), sons Jeff (Ruth), Gary (Ikuko), and Stuart (Judy), grandchildren David, Chris (Megan), Jon, Ben (Lucy), and Amber (Chris) and great granddaughter Allison. His many nieces and nephews were an important part of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of family and love. Maurice operated Seigel’s Shoes from 1954 for almost 50 years. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colbourne St.) on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 1 p.m. with Rabbi Debra Dressler officiating. Interment Restmount Temple Israel Cemetery. Many thanks to the cardiac staff and physicians at University Hospital in London for their care and compassion.
