Obituary of George Kitchener Manning

Long time member of Victory Branch Legion #317. Peacefully, at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Thursday, December 15, 2011 George Kitchener (Kitch) Manning of London in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late June Manning. Dear father of Marlene & her late husband David A. Collister. Loving grandfather of Cheryl Anne Collister, Tom Collister, Sam & his wife Nancy Collister, Anne Marie Collister all of London and 4 great grandchildren Tyler, Christopher, Alex and Victoria. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Legion service will be held on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to Legion #317 – Victory Branch.
