Obituary of Nancy Booth
It is with great sadness the family of Nancy Booth announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 after a brief but valiant battle with cancer at age 60. Beloved wife and best friend of John Kloot. Loving sister of Gord Jackson (Dorothy), Bonnie Liverance, Dan Jackson (Sue) and Mike Jackson (Bev). Dear grandmother of Meghann and Matthew Booth-Hunter. Lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews; Cindy, Kim and Jane Jackson, Scott, Theresa and Jay Liverance, Denise, Tammy, Daniel Jackson and Derek Folk and Melissa, Laura and Dave Jackson and Nicki Crouse and Peter "Shawn" Jackson. Predeceased by her daughter Annette Booth and her brother Peter Jackson. Nancy was blessed to be surrounded by the love of many cherished friends with special kindness from Paul & Lynn Larmour and Earl & Debbie Chappell. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit at Victoria Hospital. On line condolences www.loganfh.ca. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Nancy Booth.
