Obituary of Richard W. Clark
Richard W. Clark passed away, peacefully, at Parkwood Hospital in London, Ontario on Friday, November 14th, 2008 in his 88th year. Devoted husband & best friend for 37 years to Margaret. He will be sadly missed by his sister Frances Hamilton, brothers Michael & Peter Clark, daughters Christine Mahler & husband John, Lee Nitsch & husband Bob, Cindy Williams & husband David, Vikki Sharpe, and his son Bill Clark & wife Jean. Loving grandfather to Nicole Byng & husband John, Michael Mahler & wife Stephanie, Colin Williams, Joshua Williams and Hayley Sharpe. Great-grandfather to Alexandra and Jeffery Mahler. Beloved first cousin to Gordon & Betty Richards and their family. Cherished uncle to many nieces & nephews and their families. Richard Clark was a kind and true gentleman, a great husband and father that will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is predeceased by his mother Eva Richards & his father Richard Arden Clark, his brothers Frederick Arden, Ernest, Domville & John Clark, and sister Grace Sneddon. The family extends its gratitude to the staff at Parkwood Hospital and the Canadian Veterans Association. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17th, 2008 at 10:30 am in the chapel at Parkwood Veterans Hospital, presided over by the honourable Reverend Paul G. Knauer.
