Obituary of Dr. James McKinnon McDermid

Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on October 12, 2004 in his 69th year. Loving husband to Nancy (nee Davidson). Dear father of John and his wife Carmen McDermid of Brantford, Ontario and Lesley and and her husband Charles Casselman of Cranbrook, British Columbia. Loving grandfather of Alexis, Jonathon and Deidra McDermid and Haley and Jamie Casselman. Dear brother of Mary Ellen McDermid of Grand Bend. Predeceased by his parents John Gordon and Evelyn. Jim graduated from the University of Western Ontario Medical School in 1961. He practiced family medicine in Tillsonburg until his retirement in 1993. Jim and Nancy enjoyed his retirement years at his favourite place Maple Grove, Grand Bend. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Thursday 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 15, 2004 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Canon Donald Ford officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
