Obituary of Nicholas “Nick” Tombros

Peacefully, with his family by his bedside, on Sunday February 22, 2004. Nicholas “Nick” Tombros, of London, formerly of Kitchener, at the age of 80 years. Loving husband of Marika, of 42 years. Cherished father of Betty & Peter Tselonis, of London. “Papou” to his adoring grandchildren Georgio and Marika. Dear brother of Thomas Tombros, Georgina Tombros, and brother-in-law of James & Marika Kostantos, all of Kitchener. Also survived by many family members in Canada and Greece. Predeceased by his parents, and sister Martha. “Nick touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.” Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., London, (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Trisagion Prayers Monday 8pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 133 Southdale Rd. W., London (between Wharncliffe & Wonderland Rd.) on Tuesday February 24, 2004, at 12 noon with Father Elias Drossos and Father Demetrios Chelonis officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London.
