Obituary of Jack & Mary Murdy
John "Jack" Benjamin Murdy
1929 - 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jack on January 7th, 2021 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Mary Murdy for 55 years. Jack will be sadly missed by his step-son Gary Pullin (Helen) and predeceased by step-son Doug. Survived by his sisters Marguerite Crozier and late husband Roy. Jack is predeceased by his parents James and Flora Murdy, special aunts Mary Priddle and Margaret Murray. He will be missed by his cousins Jean Biddle and Mary Rashid. Jack will be dearly missed and remembered as father Jack by Danny and Jennifer Brundritt and his special SONNY BOY Ken Oesch, wife Bev and families. Jack was a Mason and a Shriner for many years. He worked in a car business in Toronto before moving to London in 1983 becoming the service manager at LMP where he worked for many years before retiring. In retirement Jack worked part time at the Logan Funeral Home and also completing dealer trades at McMaster. Jack will forever be missed by many friends and co-workers. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the staff at University Hospital in C.C.U for all of their care and kindness. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those who wish to make a memorial donation in memory of Jack, are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, (519) 433-6181. Mary Teresa Murdy (nee Doyle)
1931 - 2021
With added sadness, Mary Murdy passed away January 9th, 2021 with her son at her side. Predeceased by her husband Jack Murdy, 36 hours before her death. Cherished mother of son Gary (Helen) Pullin and daughter in-law Gail Pullin. Grandmother of Jeremy (Tara) Pullin, Mike (Chrissy) Pullin, Ryan (Pamela) Pullin, Lindsey Pullin (Kris) and Blake (Melissa) Pullin. Great Grandmother of Kyle, Nolan, Rachel, Douglas, Michelle, Miller, Berkeley, Kira and Kobe. Survived by her siblings Kay Nadalin, Dan Doyle, Eugene (Eleanor) Doyle, Michael (Sandra) Doyle, Helen Gofton and Margaret Rose Scott. Mary will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and sister in-law Marguerite Crozier. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Ellen Doyle, son Doug Pullin, sister Hughena Daniels, brother Tim Doyle, brother in-laws Murray Daniels, Jim Nadalin, Roy Crozier and sister in-law Irene Doyle. Cherished, loved and always remembered by Dan and Jennifer Brundritt to whom we cannot say or express enough our sincere gratitude and respect for all of your love and kindness you have shown over the years.
