Obituary of Demetra (Tula) Bujouves
Passed away unexpectedly at home with family at her side on Wednesday May 11, 2016 in her 78th year.
Beloved wife of Anastasios (Tom) Bujouves of 59 years. Loving mother of Joanne (Paul) Makrakos, Julie (Bill) Smyrnios, John (Gina) Bujouves, Jim (Julie) Bujouves. Proud grandmother of nine: Nicole, Natasha, Stephen, Demetri, Taso, Laura, Kyra, Jessie, Alexa.She will be sadly missed by her siblings Thoula (Gus) Liambotis, Georgia (the late Pete) Mylonas, Anastasia (George) Koumanis, Anastasios (Vicki) Bissioulis, Zafirios (Kostoula) Bissioulis and many nieces and nephews.
Her passion was her family, gardening, and her famous Greek pastries.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Friday May 13, 2016 from 6 – 9 p.m.
Prayers will be held in the chapel Friday evening at 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on Saturday May 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating.
Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Demetra (Tula) Bujouves can be made to either the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
