Obituary of Dorothy Hazel Loucks

With sadness we announce the loss of our mother, grandmother and friend. Dorothy Hazel passed peacefully at LHSC Victoria Hospital, London, in her 86th year. She is reunited with her beloved husband, the late Gordon Loucks. Dear mother of Terry and Mike Melnyk, Wayne Loucks, Kathleen Russell, Shirley and Terry Giffin, Lori and Doug Emeny, Judy and Gary Emeny, Tammy and Mike Donkervoort all from London, Cindy and Kevin Trotman from Glencoe, and Tracy Hicks. She will be missed by her many grand and great-grandchildren. A special mention to Dorothy’s niece, Sharon Foster and Eric Foster from Victoria, BC for being a loyal relative whom kept touch on a regular basis. Dorothy is also survived by her sister-in-law Doreen Davidson and many other relatives. Dorothy is predeceased by her brothers Vincent, Harry, Raymond, and her sister Gwen. Dorothy was the assistant manager for years of the London Arena, where she made many friends and was well loved. Friends will be received at LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 371 Dundas St., on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the LOGAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11 am. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
