HI Terry and Family:I have fond memories of Doris and myself working at the Spur Gas Bar at 1379 Dundas Street East in London for Mr.Frank Prendergast the owner of Fromet Transport from August 1977-April 1978 as a self serve cashier in the gas business and the Friday in December1977 when Doris asked me if I would take her full time position for the next nine months as she was about to go on matrenity leave with our firm.I was overjoyed by being offered this opportunity at which time with my paycheck in hand I screamed a resounding yes to this offer. What a kind and considerate warm young lady Doris was with her waist length thick hair back then in those trademark pigtails which she wore so well in her hair back then.Terry you picked a fine lady to be your wife-Atrue humanitarian always with the ever present smile on her face and a very cheerful personality in many ways till this day.I am truly filled with sadness of the passing of such a fine lady.As a matter of record I continued to stay in the customer services field in later years working as the inventort controller for CBS Euipment on ADelaide Street South From June6 1978-April 11,1984 at which time I joined Parkwood Hospital in January 1985 as a Customer service Represenative on the Main Desk at the hospital for the past 27.5 years, enjoying every minute of it while accepting many awards in the heathcare field along the way for my exceptional customer service abilities having such a great teacher like Doris back in 1977.I feel truly blessed to have met her and had the gracious opportunity to work alongside such a fine lady. Our World And London are better communities for having this gracious priviledge and honour in our lives.May GOd Bless and keep all your family members safe and well throught these very difficult times good friends,Her legacy and smile will always provide me with warm thoughts in my heart from this day forward. Please take careokay.-Yours very sincerely -Brian Cross-Senior Customer Service Represenative -Parkwood Hospital-801 Commissioners Road East -London,OntarioN6C5J1

Terry and family, Words cannot express how much we will miss Doris. Doris was the most kind, and generous person. As the saying goes, she'd give you the shirt off her back, well along with that she'd give you her jacket, shoes, and a meal too. Doris loved everyone unconditionally whether you had two legs or four, skin or fur, if you had just met or known eachother for a lifetime. Our thoughts are with you.

My deepest thoughts are with the family. Doris is a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. Doris will be sadly missed by family members some were born in and other where taken under her wing. Many hearts are ache because of her passing. I had the pleasure of being Doris friend for over 50 years. We have been though many things in these years some bad but most good. We went from playing around as children and yes we did get in trouble. To Doris meeting and fell in love with Terry the love of her life (he hung the moon just for her for anyone that did not know). The birth of each of our children, and watching them grow in to adulthood. With each of us having grandchildren taking about how fast time goes by. No matter what was going on in our lives we could pick up the phone, talk on-line or even just show up at the door. Our conversations would pick up where we left off, even if it had been months or years our friendship lasted the test of time. I will cherish all the memories of our life from childhood to adulthood. Doris you will always have that place in my heart as I did in yours. My dearest friend I will miss you very much and see you again.
