Obituary of Diamantis Gianakakis

At L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 Diamantis Gianakakis of London peacefully passed in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Maria Gianakakis. Dear father of Angela & her husband Robert Sutton of London, Gus & his wife Heather Gianakakis of Strathroy and Andry Gianakakis of Toronto. Loved by 7 grandchildren Adam, Alex, Christian, Amelia, Julia, Jacquelle & Isabella. Dear brother of Margarita, Vasilis, Christos, John, Panayota and Matina. Predeceased by his parents Kostantinos & Angela and a sister Demetra. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Prayers will be held on Friday evening at 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road W. on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 1 pm with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
