Obituary of Dimitro (Hondos) Liaboti
Mrs. Dimitro (Hondos) Liaboti of London (originally from Greece), peacefully passed away at St. Mary’s … Mount Hope Home for the Aged on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 in her 102nd year surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Ioannis Liaboti. Cherished mother to Sophia and her husband Evangelos Aggelopoulos, of Chicago, Dimitrios and his wife Penelope Liambotis, Ekaterini and her husband Georgios Moulopoulos, Panagiotis Liabotis, and Konstantina and her husband Antonios Skrettas, all of London. Predeceased by sons Sotirios and Hlias. Sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren; Vickie and her husband Andy Soursos (Chicago), John and his wife Sophie Liambotis (Chicago), Alexandra and her husband Mario Keriakedes (Richmond Hill), Toula and her husband Peter Klementzos (Chicago), Angelo and his wife Cara Liambotis (London), Litsa and her husband Andy Lerikos (London), Maria and her husband George Quintela (Trinity, Florida), Toula and her husband Damon Papadopoulos (Toronto) and 14 great-grandchildren ages 22 years to 7 months. Fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her blessings of love will be our ongoing inspiration. Her unique and resonant voice will echo in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Thursday, May 31 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., with prayers in the chapel at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 133 Southdale Road West on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dimitro are asked to do so to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Online condolences www.loganfh.ca
