Ken was so mild mannered and had an easy way with people. He had so many good pointers and loved to share about funeral directing. Hold your memories close and he will never be forgotten. Bonnie

My condolences to the family of Ken Story. Just this past week I was reminiscing about Ken and Marilyn - I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn when we worked together at the Cancer Clinic in London. It was then that I also met Ken. I especially remember how excited and thrilled they were when Patrick was born. (We had a "baby" shower for Marilyn at that happy time.) Marilyn and Ken were a lovely couple - now reunited. I am sorry that I am not able to attend either the visitation or service as I am out-of-town. (A co-incidence - when my father passed away, Ken was the funeral director. It was a few years later that I had the pleasure of meeting Ken and Marilyn.) Please feel free to call me anytime.

I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Ken as an apprentice funeral director in the early 80's (along with Jim Squires, George Furtney, Stewart Rice and a cast of other characters). Ken had just joined the firm from Carruthers funeral home on Dundas Street, East. Ken was a kind and gentle soul. He taught me the importance of patience, compassion, humility and listening. He was a great teacher and mentor. It was clear to me from the time that we spent together that he loved and valued his family greatly. May his memory be a blessing. With sincere sympathy and all good thoughts, Donald Sanderson Parry Sound
