Obituary of Geraldine (June) Hughes (nee Tustin)

June was a smart, spirited woman who loved animals and a good laugh. She was 77 years old. June’s husband, William (Bill) Hughes predeceased her in 1983. Her daughter, Deb Shannon held June’s hand as she passed peacefully away on Monday, June 10 in London. June has three sons – Bill, Steve & Chris – who all live in London. Her sister, Marion, lives in Alberta. There will be a Memorial service for June on Thursday, June 13th at 7 p.m. at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street in London, with visitation one hour prior to service. Donations in June Hughes’ name should be directed to either Alzheimer’s Society or the London humane Society. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to June Hughes.
