She served as President of London Women’s Canadian Club. She captained canvass and fund-raising efforts for Ontario Heart and Stroke for years, and while caring for Len after he suffered a debilitating stroke, was involved with The Stroke Recovery Unit in London. After moving to London from Toronto, she and Len loved and supported First St. Andrew’s United Church, developing membership and pioneering ‘Coffee and Conversation’, convening a United Church Women’s (UCW) unit, organizing the annual "Geranium" sale, and enjoyed many years organizing the church’s annual Rummage Sale.
