Obituary of James Edward Woycke

Passed away Wednesday September 22, 2010 at Chelsey Park Retirement Community following a long illness at the age of 63. James had been a faculty member of the University of Western Ontario in the history department since 1990, having received his PhD from the University of Toronto in 1984. He was the author of two scholarly books. James is survived by a brother, Robert, of Michigan. Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) for visitation 1hour prior to service. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Father Fred Howard Smith officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
