Obituary of Ronald Marks

On June 10th we lost a great father, husband and friend. In his struggle with ALS Ron was courageous to the end. Even though he lost so much, he never lost his sense of humour. His kind, generous and compassionate nature will help all of those who are grieving. We all are truly blessed to have had Ron in our lives. Sharon, his friend and loving wife if 38 years is a better person because of his kind soul. Alisha and Noah, his daughter and son were adored by him and are legacies of his kind soul. Ron is survived by his loving mother Phyllis, and predeceased by his father Saul and his sister Lianne. Ron was an active volunteer and was proud of his involvement in Track 3 skiing and Temple Israel. His many interests allowed him to fully enjoy life, whether it was sailing, skiing, taking wonderful photos or traveling. The former sheriff of London will be truly missed. The funeral service will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo an Colborne) on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 1 p.m. with Rabbi Joel Wittstein officiating. Interment Restmount Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to A.L.S. Society or Hospice of London.
