Obituary of Sydney Whitlock

At L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Friday, February 8th, 2008, peacefully with his friends at his side, Mr. Sydney Whitlock of London in his 80th year. Predeceased by his father James Whitlock and mother Ivey Edna Hubbard. Remembered by numerous siblings, nieces and nephews. Also fondly remembered by friends and staff of the Alice Saddy Association as well as friends and neighbors at the Fiddlers Green Apartments. Many thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of the Victoria Hospital-Westminster Campus-6th floor A.C.E. unit for their wonderful care of Sydney during his short stay. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Wednesday, February 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the chapel on Thursday, February 14th, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
