Peacefully, with family by her side at home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, Emmy Riise, originally from Norway, passed away at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Kasper "Erik" Riise. Loving mother of Mona (Tom Powell). Dear grandmother of Lisa (John) Walsh of London and Todd MacEwen (Sarah) of Thorndale. Great-grandmother of Michael Walsh, Luke Walsh, Madeline MacEwen and Lila MacEwen. Survived by her brothers Arild Knutsen and Ottar Knutsen of Norway. As per Emmy's request, a private family funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London, Ontario. Memorial donations may be made to the London Humane Society or Canadian Breat Cancer Foundation in memory of Emmy Riise.
