Obituary of Evagelos "Angelo" Glinos

Of London and formerly of Pikerni, Greece in his 79th year passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 18th, 2012. Angelos was surrounded by family and friends at L.H.S.C. Beloved husband of 53 years to Chrisoula (Chris) Futris-Glinos. Dear son of the late Athanasios and Eleni Cherished brother of Georgina Vasilopoulou, Stavros Glinos and the late Kostas Glinos. Beloved father of Tom and wife Angela Glinos, Eleni Georgallidis-Glinos, Maria Glinos, Peter and wife Sharon Glinos. Loving Grandfather (Papou) of Kristina Glinos-Twilt, George Georgallidis, Julia Glinos, Vasili McGowans, Evan Georgallidis, Xrisa McGowans, Evan Glinos, Joshua Glino, Jaysen Glinos. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Cloborne St.), on Tuesday from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the Chapel Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to the building fund of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Mr. Glinos.
