Obituary of Leon "Lee" Sherman
Peacefully, with family by his side at LHSC, University Hospital on Saturday, November 12, 2022, Leon "Lee" Sherman passed away at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of the late Marian Sherman (2020). Loving father of Paula Chatterson (Larry Haycock). Dear grandfather of Justin (Tara) Chatterson. Devoted great-grandfather of Emma and Dylan. Brother of Hy Sherman (the late Sally Sherman). Remembered by his sister-in-law Pam Lamb and her husband John, their son Jordan Lamb and his spouse Jane Pilskalnietis and their daughter Violet, his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Lee was an avid reader, he was a loving and devoted grandfather, outstanding role model, he loved animals and spent his spare time volunteering and helping others.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of LHSC, University Hospital for all their care and support.
Graveside service and burial will take place at Or Shalom Cemetery, London, Ontario on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rabbi Catharine Clark officiating.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Diabetes Canada or Magen David Adom in memory of Mr. Sherman.
