Obituary of Peter Joseph Weiler

Peacefully, with his loving family by his side, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Pete Weiler, of London, formerly of Kelowna, B.C., & Woodstock, ON, passed away in his 80th year. Loving father of Jennifer & her husband Mike Shymanski and proud grandfather of Parker, all of London. Dear brother of Mary Weiler of Burgessville, ON, Paul (Maureen-deceased) of Woodstock, ON, Phil-deceased of Woodstock, ON, Sue (Richard) Morris of Kelowna, B.C., Martha-deceased of Woodstock, ON, Stan (Freya Grey-deceased) of Winlaw, B.C., Mark (Maureen) of Kamloops, B.C., Tim-deceased (Kim McElhone) of Tillsonburg, ON & Matthew (Rita) of Courtland, ON. Pete will be missed by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Pete is predeceased by his dear friend & ex-wife Carol Weiler. Pete's greatest love & accomplishment was his devotion to his family, especially his grandson Parker, and his time spent working at Seton House of Prayer in Kelowna, B.C. Pete had a passion for dragon boat racing & woodworking that included birdhouses and special projects for Jenny. A visitation will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., London, ON, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 3:30-4:30pm. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Pete's Life will be conducted in the Logan Chapel on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. with Johnson Kuriappilly officiating. Followed by a reception and further time of visiting & refreshment. Interment in Hillview Cemetery, Woodstock, ON.
