Obituary of George Bobotsis

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father and grandfather George Bobotsis, born in Sparta Greece. He is survived by several family members, Maria Bobotsis (wife), Gus and Evanglia and George Bobotsis, Chris, Tina, George and Lambros Bobotsis, John and Matina Bobotsis along with siblings and relatives in Greece and extended family in Ontario. George was the proud owner of the Highland Restaurant for over 33 years. He will be missed especially by his staff who were in reality his second family. George was well respected by everyone in the community for his kind heart and generosity. The immediate family attended a graveside funeral on April 16, 2020. A celebration of George’s life will be held on a later date. Memorial donations in George’s name may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
