Obituary of Helen Belanger
Peacefully, at Providence Manor in Kingston, ON, with son Paul and daughter-in-law Julia by her side, Helen passed away Friday morning, February 7th, 2020 in her 88th year.
Daughter of Annie and Edward Landgren, Helen was born in Sarnia, ON, September 13th, 1932. Helen was pre-deceased by sisters Mary (Fred) and Barbara (Peter) and brothers Carl and Bob. She is survived by sisters Dorothy and Joan (Patrick). Helen was especially fond of her nieces and nephews Joyce, Cathy, Stephen, Gregory, Wendy, Bob, Chuck, Harold Jr., Michael, Mark, Cheryl, Bobby, Chad, Craig, Chris and Cathy.
After living in Windsor and working in Detroit for a number of years, Helen returned to London in the 1970's and lived there until moving to Kingston to live with Paul and Julia in her final years. Her many friends from both Berkshire and Cherryhill will remember Helen. Even in her last year at Providence Manor, Helen was well-known and liked by the staff and her fellow residents.
The family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
A private family service was held with interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London.
