Obituary of Mary Jane Knight (Clarke)
Finally at peace, Mary Jane (nee Clarke) Knight took her last earthly breath on Monday, February 6, 2017. In her 82nd year, Mary was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and daughter. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Richard Knight (2015), Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son, Scott (Meredith) and daughter, Krista (Gino); her grandchildren, Cassandra, Brandon, Andrew, Logan and Jessica, and great grandson, Dominic. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Art (Simone), her sister Betty (Graydon), many nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends and former co-workers from Loeb Wharncliffe. Mary is predeceased by her parents; Vernon and Mary Jane; her brothers Jim (Evy), Bill (Iva), and Ken (Manilla).
A Celebration of her life will take place at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo St. & Colborne St.), on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. Internment of Mary & Richards ashes will be held in the Spring in Mount Brydges.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to staff at McCormick Home in London, Ontario and the Fox Ridge Nursing Home in Brantford for their love and support of Mary in her final years.
