Obituary
Obituary of Konstantinos "Gus" Sebekos
It is with heavy hearts, that after a 2 year battle with a horrible disease, in his 74th year, we announce the passing of a husband, father, grandfather, and almost made great-grandfather, at University Hospital on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years Angela (Vouvalidis). Loving father to Peter Sebekos (Janet) and Effie and her husband George Gerantonis. Beloved grandfather to Angela (Nathan), Nicole, Dean (Marcella), and Julia. Dear brother of Liyari (Gus) in Greece and Eva (Petro) in Brantford. Predeceased by Georgina (Peter). Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gus immigrated to Canada from Greece in 1965, met the love of his life and married her 2 weeks later. They spent the next 40 years owning and running 3 restaurants in London where he made the best pancakes, toasted westerns, and grilled cheeses. Upon retiring, Gus loved to tend to his vegetable garden and fruit trees, especially his fig tree.
