Obituary of Panagiotis (Peter) Karolemeas
Karolemeas, Panagiotis (Peter), from the village of Stoupa outside Kalamata, Greece, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the age of 71 years at Parkwood Hospital in London, Ontario. Peter will be sadly missed by his loving children Tom and Maria. He will be forever remembered by his loving sister Noula, her husband Bob Kaldis and their sons John and Angelo. He is survived by his mother Maria Karolemeas, his brothers John (Maria), George (Ourania) and Gus and his sisters Nitsa (Takis), Voula (Bill), Toula (Vasilis) all of Greece and Frideriki of Montreal. Peter will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by his father Athanassios and his sister-in-law Ana Karolemeas. Visitation will be at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.), on Sunday, July 20th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 21, 2008, at 2:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road W., with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the Logan Chapel Sunday evening at 7pm. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
