Surrounded by his family at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital on Tuesday, November 11th, 2003. Philip G. Kapelos of London, in his 99th year. Beloved husband of 65 years to Bessie (Vasiliki) Kapelos of London. Dear father of Mary and her husband Anthony Singeris of London, Georgia Kapelos and Nicholas (Nick) and his wife Sabine Kapelos of Toronto. Predeceased by beloved daughter, Nancy Andros. Father-in-law of Dr. Peter Andros of London. Loved by 9 grandchildren, Ted (Christina), Philip (Megan), Demetri, Marisa, Philip, Alexandra, Vassy, Zoe, Christina and 6 great-grandchildren. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1114 Richmond Street North, on Friday, November 14th, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
