Obituary of Harris Allan Grossman

Harris Allan Grossman passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in his 67th year. Beloved brother of Donald and Joey, Kenneth and Marcia, cherished uncle of David, Rick, Bennett (Dan), Jay (Marni) and Judy (Phil), great-uncle of Nadia, Lucas and Liam. Harris was the loving son of the late Lily and Samuel David (John) Grossman of Windsor. Harris will be remembered as the man who ran the tuck shop at Extendicare, London for over 30 years. Harris had a love for the simple life, being with family on special occasions or going for short trips to the dollar store or a local nursery to see the shrubbery. Special thanks to the staff of Extendicare for your loving attention and to our dear friend, Eve Atlin. Internment and grave side ceremony will be held at Or Shalom Cemetery, Proudfoot Lane at Oxford St, Thursday, January 6th at 11a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 123 St. George Street, London, Ontario, N6A 3A1.
