Obituary of Jack Springer
Jack Springer was born July 12, 1920, passing away on November 14, 2017.
He was predeceased by his wife Oreen. Jack is survived by his daughter Sandra, his grandchildren Keith & Rebecca Jane Howlett, his great-grandchildren Jacob Brassé and his wife Deanna and Justin Carrothers, also by his friend Linda.
Jack lived a full life, taking care of his family and his friends and volunteering to help others. Jack was a proud member of the North Shore New Brunswick Regiment, the London Victory Branch Legion #317, as well as a Knight of the French Legion of Honour, in recognition of his service in WWII.
Special thanks to his caregiver Elinor, as well as the 6th floor nurses and PSWs at University Hospital.
Cremation has taken place.
The service to celebrate Jack’s life will take place at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., London (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack’s memory to www.lifespin.org.
