Obituary of Kenneth Walter Slade

Peacefully at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of 62 years of Eleanor Slade (Gilbert). Predeceased by parents Doris and Harold Slade and loving sister Jean Young. Proud father of Douglas (Suzanne), Margaret Greenside (Steve) and Diane Benway (Glenn Wyatt). Dearly loved grandfather of Heather, Brad, Kelly, Kyle, Jennifer, Brian, Angela and Brian. Ken was true to his profession, steadfast to his church and gave of himself to the community through Scouts Canada and Kiwanis. Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. and Monday from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at All Saints’ Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Road at Inkerman St. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev.
