Mrs. Brooke I am saddened by the news of Dr. Brooke's death. He was a wonderful human being and I enjoyed his humour and conversations in the latter part of his time at Western. I worked for Dr. Gray and got to know Dr. Brooke a little more when he moved into Dr. Gray's Office during his retirement. May he rest in peace, Anne

Dear Lorna and Family, We wish to express our deepest sympathy upon the death of your dear husband. Some of the girls at Aquafit told me recently that he was indeed extremely ill. A a result, you will have had an extremely difficult summer and for that, we are sorry. Incidentally, my husband's daughters, Allison and Andrea McKay, were students at UWO School of Dentistry 1992-94, and have always spoken of Dr.Brooke with a great deal of admiration and respect. We wish you strength and comfort as you face this sad event. Sincerely, Eric and Susan McKay

I offer my deepest sympathies to the family. I was privileged to know him and work with him during my tenure as Chair of Physiology at Western, 1991-2001. He was always available to talk about concerns and opportunities, and give wise advice. He was an encouraging partner in the development of Physiology's strong research and teaching ties to the Faculty of Dentistry. Ralph was a gentleman, a scholar and a true professional.

Dear Lorna: I was deeply saddened to read, this morning, of the death of your dear husband, a highly respected colleague of mine for over four decades. Ralph's contributions to our school, to the university, to our hospitals and to organizations representing and supporting dentistry have been nothing short of magnificent. He will be sorely missed. I have made a contribution, in memory of and in tribute to Ralph, to St. Joseph's Hospice. Please accept for yourself, for Michael, for Andrew, and for all other members of your family, my most profound and heartfelt sympathy. Most sincerely, Wes.

I wish to express my deepest condolences to the Brooke family at this sad time. My Dad called me this morning to tell me about Ralph's passing. Dr. Brooke was an amazing lecturer and a wonderful dean of the dental school while I was there. I loved his soft manner, but knew how incredibly intelligent he was. He will be missed. Sad regards, Rick Grossman
