Obituary of Sophia Vardas

At LHSC Victoria Hospital on Tuesday May 14th, 2013 Sophia (Litsios) Vardas of London in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Constantinos (Gus) Vardas. Dear mother of George and his wife Angela Vardas of Edmonton, Alberta, Niki and her husband Spiros Vilos and Theodore and his wife Vivi Vardas all of London. Loved by 6 grandchildren Koula, Lefteris and his wife Georgia, Sophie and her husband Chris Neil, Gus, Sophia and Mary and two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Arkadia. Dear sister of Peter Litsios and Hellen Tsaoussis both of London. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne) on Thursday from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road W. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11 am with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Prayers will be held on Thursday evening at 8 pm.
