Obituary of Shirley (Pearson) Fredin

Peacefully, at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, on Saturday, February 19, 2011, Shirley Fredin of London, passed away in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Oscar Fredin. Remembered by 3 sons & their families, Dennis (Lynne) and children Andrea (Jason)& Suzanne; Larry (Debra) & son Tyler (Tricia); and Brian (Linda) and children Kimberley & Lindsay. Step-mother of Marilyn (Warren) and children Trevor & Laura (Brad); Ron (friend Sandy); Lorraine (Jim) and children Melanie (Craig) & Andrew (Avi). Also survived by many great-grandchildren. Shirley was a longtime sales associate at Birk’s Jewellers and member of Byron United Church. Funeral service will be conducted at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo & Colborne), London, on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. (Visitation from 1-3pm). Cremation will take place, a family interment will be arranged to suit those who wish to attend at a later date at Woodland Cemetery in the family niche where Shirley will join Oscar in eternity. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
